Some projects Wright & Sons Landscaping Ltd are commissioned to undertake present challenges most other landscape companies are unable to tackle. We pride ourselves in being able to see beyond the problem to create a solution that not only overcomes any issues but produces stunning results our clients are delighted with.

One such project was a large plot where the main section of garden was only accessible by negotiating a steep bank. This was not only treacherous for the owner but also meant that the bank was virtually unusable and an 'ugly' feature. As you can see from the pictures above Wright & Sons Landscaping Ltd set about 'softening' the bank by adding a series of grass terraces and improved access with staged steps to take away the steepness. Now the bank has become a major feature leading to a striking garden area which was previously hard to get to and unloved; significantly increasing the value of the property.

Other commissions are more straight forward but you can be assured that Wright & Sons Landscaping Ltd gives them the same level of attention.
The project above was to create a stunning garden with defined ‘zones’ out of what was essentially a barren plot of land. As you can see from the photographs the resulting transformation represented a dramatic improvement on the existing site.

The following project required Wright & Sons Landscaping Ltd to tackle an awkward gradient surrounding the house to provide generous, tiered sections incorporating a seaside theme. Reclaimed railway sleepers, expanses of pebbles and carefully selected plants created a truly authentic beach feel.

Wright & Sons Landscaping Ltd constructed extensive gabion walls and steps at an iconic house which sits high and isolated on the marine esker on the North Norfolk coast. It is very windswept and relatively dry.
The gabions sit well with the glacial moraine, the more rustic feel of the gabion certainly enhanced the garden better than more formal walls.
The shingle paths were constructed from the same shingle where we got the gabion cobbles from, a quarry just a short distance from the site. The natural colours from these indigenous materials has meant that the whole scheme rests and harmonises very well in its immediate surroundings. This scheme has been further enhanced by desert and scree type planting.

This magnificent project which took six months to complete was undertaken in the beautiful Stiffkey valley.
It was designed by an internationally renowned garden designer. We were able to use the best materials possible, Cathedral grade York Stone flags, large fully formed topiary and large specimen trees & shrubs.
The finished job rests harmoniously and seamlessly into the natural landscape. It is a place of reflection & calm. The very ancient beech tree which forms the focal axis for the garden gives the whole design a timeless quality as if it has been this way for hundreds of years, especially when the entire tree gets reflected in the large formal pond.
We planted thousands of Spring bulbs in the parterre sections of the grass. There is a long and extensive herbaceous border so interest throughout the seasons is assured.
We will be maintaining this garden so I will post other shots of this wonderful project through the coming year as it develops.

Wright & Sons Landscaping Ltd undertook to do a very large planting scheme at the new Crematorium which opened in Cromer a year ago. Commercial planting/landscaping is always very challenging, we often come in just as the race to the finish line is in sight, contractors everywhere, so a cool head yet steely resolve is needed to pull it off. Deadlines have to be met.
